Concert

I had a wonderful time at the Brian McKnight/Joe/Dwele Concert on Friday night.  That was the first time I was honored to hear Mr. McKnight perform live.  You can always tell when someone has to work really hard to achieve something and when others have God-given talents.  His voice is truly a gift.  I often closed my eyes and let the words he sang touch my heart and even a few seeped into my soul.  I wiped tears away as he sang “Still In Love.”  It reminded me of someone and the love we shared that I can only hope to realize again in life.  “When eagles forget how to fly/When it’s 20 below in July/And when violets turn red/and roses turn blue/I’ll be still in love with you….”

Me Simply

I am very surpised to have one of these.  I only joined to support a great friend.  Not one that I speak to every day, but nonetheless someone who truly matters in my life.  My life. I have been engulfed by what has seemed like “the fire,” and doused by what has seemed like “the flood.”  I am yet still standing, standing on the promises of GOD.  Without him, I would not be where I am today.  Since I definitely believe there is a reason for everything, I figured maybe I am voice that needs to be heard though I usually like to remain somewhat of a whisper.  Stay tuned…
